What is the meaning behind the word BIBI?
The name BIBI is held with affection across the South Asian subcontinent, a word spoken with warmth, respect and love. It is used for women and girls of all ages, from the youngest daughter to the most revered elder, carrying a sense of care, dignity and belonging.
In every home, every language and every culture, Bibi is a word that uplifts. It holds within it the laughter of childhood, the strength of womanhood and the wisdom of generations. It is both gentle and powerful, familiar yet full of pride.
We chose the name BIBI because it reflects exactly what this platform stands for, a joyful celebration of women, a coming together of stories, cultures and ambitions, and a space where every woman is seen, valued and honoured.

Our mission is to empower South Asian women and women more widely by creating a platform built on visibility, opportunity and fairness. BIBI exists to champion talented individuals, creatives and entrepreneurs by giving them meaningful exposure and a space to grow.
At its heart, BIBI is about uplifting communities, opening doors and giving back. We are here to celebrate talent, support ambition, encourage connection and create lasting impact through culture, collaboration and opportunity
